At Forest & Fur, our professional dog trainers utilize structured and personalized training to meet the needs of both dog and owner. With a focus on positive reinforcement and balanced training, dogs can learn essential skills and enjoy the process. Remote-based e-collar conditioning for each key command provides a way to properly communicate with your pup, even off-leash. Additionally, we operate on structured daily training schedules ensuring a perfect balance of learning, rest, and play.

Lodging and Day School options available for training programs!
Lodging: Your pet can lodge at our facility for the duration of their program in a comfortable individual accommodation. Don’t worry! You will receive a daily update with photos/videos and participate in a weekly lesson to visit with your pet and keep up with their training.
Day School: You can pick up and drop off your pet at our facility daily Monday-Friday for the duration of their program. An example of a day would be, drop off at 9:00am and pick up at 4:00pm with a small lesson at the end of each day to share what your pet is learning. You will receive small amounts of training “homework” to keep your pet structured at home between days of training.
Training Programs
Each program includes all necessary gear to maintain your educated companion. Including a training e-collar and remote, and training manual. You also receive complimentary training refreshers and support for life!
Puppy School
3 week duration
4-6 months of age
Puppy School is the perfect foundation of essential commands and manners for your new pup. This program begins on a Monday and has a duration of 3 weeks. Weekly lessons are included on each Friday for you to check in and keep up with the skills your pet has learned.
Commands include: sit, down, go to place, stay, recall, loose-leash walking/heel, door manners, greeting manners, canine social manners, potty training structure, schedule structure, and public socialization. Each command is trained with distractions to ensure that skills meet our standards of completion.
Obedience School is a great program for your furry companion of any age to learn essential commands and manners. This program begins on a Monday and has a duration of 2 weeks. Weekly lessons are included on each Friday for you to check in and keep up with the skills your pet has learned.
Commands include: sit, down, go to place, stay, off-leash recall, loose-leash walking/heel, door manners, greeting manners, canine social manners, schedule structure, and public socialization. Each command is trained with distractions to ensure that skills meet our standards of completion.
Obedience School
2 week duration
6 months of age and over
Advanced Skills
2 week+ duration
Basic Obedience must be completed before the Advanced Skills program.
Advanced Skills is for our four-legged students who have completed the Obedience School program as a prerequisite. This program is an opportunity to advance your dog’s skills, as well as your skills as a handler. Whether you are interested in learning new and more advanced tasks or further advancing what has already been instilled, take your training to the next level with our Advanced Skills Program!
This program begins on a Monday and has a duration of 2 weeks. Weekly lessons are included on each Friday for you to check in and ensure confidence and comfortability in handling your skilled pup. Each command is trained with distractions to ensure that skills meet our standards of completion.
Examples of Advanced Skills: off-leash heel, distance down, extended duration stay, extended off-leash recall. Reach out to us to discuss your training goals!

Our Cancellation and Refund Policy:
We require a 72-hour notice for cancellation of training reservations. If you cancel more than 72 hours in advance, we will refund your 20% deposit. If you cancel within the 72-hour window or do not show up to drop off your pet, you forfeit your 20% deposit. If you need to cancel a service, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
