At Forest & Fur, our professional dog trainers utilize structured and personalized training to meet the needs of both dog and owner. With a focus on positive reinforcement and balanced training, your pet learns key skills and enjoys the process. Remote-based e-collar conditioning for each essential command provides a way to properly communicate with your pup, even off-leash. Additionally, we operate on organized training schedules ensuring a perfect balance of learning, rest, and play.
Our Philosophy:

Commands include: sit, down, place, stay, recall, loose-leash walking/heel, door manners, greeting manners, canine social manners, potty training structure, and public socialization. Each command is trained with distractions to ensure that skills meet our standards of completion.

A great program for your furry companion of any age to learn essential commands and manners. This program also includes weekly lessons for you to check in and keep up with the skills your pet has been busy learning.

Advanced Skills
2 week duration
Basic Obedience must be completed before the Advanced Skills program.
Boarding or Day School
Advanced Skills is for our four-legged students who have completed the Basic Obedience program as a prerequisite. This program is an opportunity to advance your dog’s skills as well as your skills as a handler. Whether you are interested in learning new and more advanced tasks or furthering what has already been instilled, take your training to the next level with our Advanced Skills Program!
This program also includes weekly lessons for you to check in and ensure confidence and comfortability in handling your skilled pup. Each command is trained with distractions to ensure that skills meet our standards of completion.
Behavior Advancement
3-4 week duration
For dogs struggling with reactivity, fear, or aggression.
Boarding or Day School
Is your pup fearful or reactive towards new people, loud noises, or other dogs? Let us help guide your pet to comfort and confidence through high stress situations, all while learning a complete set of commands and manners. Through using positive, structured training and obedience principles, this program helps build management skills for you and your dog to enjoy life to the fullest.

Additionally, you will learn management skills to properly guide your dog through difficult situations. This program also includes weekly lessons for you to check in and ensure confidence and comfortability handling your dog. Our Cancellation and Refund Policy:
We require a 72-hour notice for cancellation of training reservations. If you cancel more than 72 hours in advance, we will refund your 20% deposit. If you cancel within the 72-hour window or do not show up to drop off your pet, you forfeit your 20% deposit. If you need to cancel a service, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
