Our Story
Hello! Our names are Julia Sadlon and Alyssa McCutcheon and we are the owners of Forest & Fur. After years of working in the pet care and training industry, we decided to combine our experience and open a pet care facility of our own. We stumbled upon the perfect property in Franklin, NC to start our business, and we are currently putting the final touches on our custom-built lodging and training facility. Our world revolves around our pets and we can’t wait to add yours to our family!
Meet Julia:
Hi, I’m Julia and I am the co-owner of Forest & Fur! I grew up in Franklin, NC and had dreams of opening a business in the area. I was raised around animals of all kinds and have owned dogs for many years. I have had a passion for animals since a very young age, which has led to a career in pet care. I have a background in dog daycare and boarding facility management, as well as office coordination. I am so excited to get to know you and all of your pets!
Meet Alyssa:
Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am the co-owner of Forest & Fur. I was raised in Ohio but moved to the mountains to pursue my dream of owning and operating a business. I come from a background in dog training and behavior, pet care, and boarding facility management. I am passionate about all aspects of expert animal care and advanced dog training. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends of all sizes and personalities!
